Aberdeen Asset Management’s senior executives have led a management buyout (MBO) to form independent private equity business Maven Capital Partners, Fund Strategy reports.

Aberdeen Asset Management’s senior executives have led a management buyout (MBO) to form independent private equity business Maven Capital Partners, Fund Strategy reports. Bill Nixon, chief of investment of the private equity team, led the MBO.

Other senior executives, including Andrew Craig, Jock Gardiner, Stella Panu, Bill Kennedy and Andrew Ferguson, helped in forming the new firm. Maven will continue to oversee funds on behalf of Aberdeen.
