Alessandro Dal Cin, formerly a director in equity derivative sales to hedge funds in London for Citigroup, has joined Newedge’s equity derivatives broking team.
“I chose Newedge because they are expanding in the areas of my skill set so it was a good match,” said Dal Cin, who joined two weeks ago. He reports to Greg Holley, head of equity derivatives broking in London.
According to a market observer, Newedge is continually looking to expand its over-the-counter equity derivatives team so it can compete with inter-dealer brokers such as ICAP and GFI.
