Brummer & Partners is also launching a long-short fund, Karakoram, focusing on Asian ex-Japan equities.
The fund has been seeded with $80 million and is targeting a net return of 15-20% per annum. The Singapore office will be headed by Chia Ee Toh, who was formerly with Amaranth Advisors and Schroder Investment Management.
