George Soros isn't finished making money, and he's certainly not finished giving it away. In August, the founder of Soros Fund Management gave $35 million to help needy families in New York purchase clothing and supplies for children heading back to school. The gift, from Soros' Foundation to Promote Open Society, follows a $50 million pledge made in May to help people in New York City living in poverty.
