August 23, 2009

Read more:

Following his imprisonment for defrauding hedge funds of more than $400 million, the home of attorney Marc Dreier was sold at auction for $8.2 million—21% less than what he paid for it just two years ago. The East 58th Street Manhattan condo was sold "as is" and includes a random list of Dreier's belongings, from Christian Liaigre furnishings to flat-panel televisions. Proceeds from the sale will first go towards the $5 million mortgage on the apartment, and then the $387.7 million Dreier was ordered to pay back.
