Hedge funds frequently make headlines for their vulture investments, but now Bernie Madoff and Samuel Israel are learning what it feels like to be the carcasses that are picked over. Cars owned by both men that were seized by the U.S. Marshals Service were among a block of 33 vehicles auctioned off in late October. A black 2001 Mercedes-Benz E320 station wagon owned by Madoff and his wife was up for grabs, along with Israel's 2007 Coachmen Freelander.
