Following the lead of celebrities such as Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, Pershing Square Asset Management founder William Ackman donated $1 million to the earthquake-devastated Haiti. Ackman wired his contribution to Partners In Health, a Boston-based not-for-profit with medical clinics on the island.
