Brian Gavin, the chief operating officer of Blackstone Alternative Asset Management, has joined the lineup for the seventh annual AR Symposium, to be held Nov. 2-3 at the New York Athletic Club in New York City.
Other newly tapped speakers include Andrew Rabinowitz, the chief operating officer of Marathon Asset Management; Bryan Martin, managing director of D.E. Shaw; Tim Flannery, founder of Copia Capital which was just spun out of FrontPoint Partners; Jerry Wang, founder and chief investment officer of Vision Investment Management; and Steve Shapiro, founder of Intrepid Capital Management.
