T. Boone Pickens has always had a way with the ladies—he's been married four times, after all—and now the famous oilman and founder of hedge fund BP Capital Management is being rewarded by a group of established and extremely successful women. The nonprofit foundation of industry association 100 Women in Hedge Funds is awarding Pickens its 2010 Effecting Change Award at a gala to be held in New York on November 17. Past recipients of the award include Julian Robertson, Carl Icahn and George Soros. Pickens, who is known for his generous philanthropy, has given away nearly $800 million.
